1 Day Trip from Fes To Moulay Idris
Moulay Idrís is one of the most famous places of pilgrimage of Morocco. It was named after Idrís I, great-grandson of Mahoma and founder of the Idrísita Dynasty. The city was closed to non-Muslims until the middle of the XX century due to its religious status. Currently, the Mausoleum of Mulay Idrís is the only forbidden place. In addition to visiting the outward of the Mausoleum of Mulay Idrís, we could visit the Mulay Idrís I Square, the panoramic terraces and the only circular minaret of Morocco. Afterwards, return to Fez around 07:00 p.m.
