    Itinerary

    Day 1: Marrakech

    You’ll begin the route in Morocco with a guided visit to Marrakech with a local guide. We’ll go to Bahia Palace, built by the Great Vizier Bahmad of Marrakech and decorated with amazing mosaics and stucco, and we’ll listen to some interesting stories about his 4 wives and his 24 concubines. 

    We’ll see the extraordinary architecture of the Saadian Tombs, which was the XVII royal necropolis. You’ll spend some time enjoying the famous bazaars of Marrakech; the wide range of scents, colours and items of the great bazaar will captivate you. The Majorelle Garden is a quiet place in the new part of the city which contains a botanical garden with native and exotic plants coming from all over the world, and a predominance of indigo blue colour on the walls. 

    We’ll end up in Jamaa El Fna Square, a place full of life and where we’ll find snake charmers, monkeys, food stalls and musicians; it’s the most lively square in Marrakech. Overnight in Hotel or Riad.

    Day 2: Marrakech to Essaouira

    A trip that will lead you to visit a lovely city of Morocco. It’s just 170 km away from Marrakech. A city on the Atlantic coastal line, along which the Argan Forest (Goat Trees) is stretched. In the province of Essaouira we’ll visit one of the women cooperatives where the extract “Moroccan Oil”: Argan, well known due to its cosmetic benefits. 

    You’ll have the chance to explore its small XVIII century Medina and go for a pleasant walk around the beach, if you wish. The seagulls’ birdsongs will replace the urban sounds of Marrakech and its major level of stress. There, some different arts such as painting and sculpture are displayed. Overnight in Essaouira in Hotel or Riad.

    Day 6: Essaouira to Agadir

    We’ll enjoy a pleasant stroll along the side of the beach of Agadir, whose name stands for strong bastion in Berber language. We’ll see Agadir from the Kasbah on the top of the hill with an overview to the city and the beach of Agadir. This is the best beach destination in Morocco and was rebuilt after the city was destroyed by an earthquake in 1960. Time to rest in the beach and enjoy the sun of Agadir. Overnight in Hotel.

    Day 4: Agadir to Sidi Ifni

    In the morning, we’ll head to the south of Agadir, to Sidi Ifni. We’ll see the Art Deco of Spanish architecture represented in the streets of Sidi Ifni. It was a hard time for the Spanish people to quit this city in 1969, since it was the gate to the Sahara from the Atlantic coast. 

    Nowadays, this is a place where many people like to practise surf and paragliding. You can go for a pleasant walk along the beach and taste some fresh fish in Sidi Ifni. Overnight in Sidi Ifni in Hotel or Riad.

    Day 5: Sidi Ifni to Tafraoute

    After breakfast, we’ll head towards Tafraoute, in the Anti Atlas Mountains. We’ll cross different sceneries and the Ameln Valley. The Berber tribe of the Chleuh, known for their great hospitality, live in this area. In Tafraoute and the neighbouring towns, people like to celebrate the almonds festival with dances and music for a couple of days. Overnight in Tafraoute in Hotel or Riad.

    Day 6: Tafraoute to Taroudante

    We’ll go on through the Anti Atlas towards the passes of the High Atlas Mountains, where we’ll find Taroudante. It was a capital of the Saadian dynasty for 20 years, before Marrakech replaced it. People like to call it the Little Marrakech, since it features clay walls and bazaars. 

    It is a splendid and lively city, even more in the night. Taroudante produces a large number of agricultural products for the whole Morocco. You’ll see lots of these crops from the road to this city (tomatoes, oranges, bananas…) Overnight in Taroudante in Hotel or Riad.

    Day 7: Taroudante to Marrakech

    We’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains through the stunning Tizi-n-test pass (2,092 m of height.) A superb route with snowed peaks in the High Atlas Mountains and overviews to the Berber towns in the hillside. Below the sinuous road, you’ll feel drawn to the town of Tin Mil, nothing better to visit. The Almohad dynasty built its splendid ancient mosque in 1,156 and was the birthplace of the mighty dynasty of Almohad Berber. We’ll go on towards the green Asni Valley and end this agreeable trip in Marrakech.

    Day 8: Marrakech – Airport:

    At the agreed hour, transfer from your hotel to Marrakech Menara airport to catch your return flight. End of our services.
